Company targets construction industry with secret formula
Synionic technology puts BMW and Toyota Prado on show stage with giant earthmovers at Big 5 PMV
Dubai, UAE, 23 November, 2010: The Middle East's largest construction industry exhibition for plant, machinery and vehicles is not normally the kind of event where you would expect to find one of the world's raciest motor cars.
Visitors to the Big 5 PMV in Dubai this week are therefore surprised to find the fastest street legal, naturally aspirated BMW taking its place alongside the latest giant earthmoving equipment being launched in the region.
The car, which is capable of lapping the famous Nurburgring motor racing circuit in Germany faster than a Ferarri Enzo, is being used by an Abu Dhabi company to spotlight the ground-breaking technology it is launching in the Gulf region to protect engine components.
Foresight Patented Technologies says its unique oil additive product, among a range of lubricants being marketed under the Synionic brand name, prolongs engine lives leading to major savings on spare parts.
This applies to construction vehicles as much as it does to cars, buses, trucks and motor bikes, hence the company’s presence at the Big 5 PMV, which opened at Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre yesterday (Monday 22 November 2010).
It is using the event to introduce the surface modifying product to plant and mechanical engineers, consultants, architects, contractors and other construction industry buyers in live demonstrations.
Built and tuned by Kinetechnik Motorsport and protected by Synionic, the BMW is sharing the company's exhibition stand with a six-cylinder Toyota Prado similarly treated with the product.
During live demonstrations the 4WD vehicle's engine is completely drained of oil and its radiator emptied while running. Amazingly, the engine just keeps running.
"This is because the one molecule coating of our formula prevents any metal on metal contact whatsoever," said Marwan Y. Ghaith, Chief Operations Officer of the Foresight Group GCC and Foresight Patented Technologies, its new division.
"It drastically reduces friction, overheating, and engine residue resulting from worn metal components. As a result it minimises the dependence on oil as a coolant and detergent in the engines of plant, machinery and construction vehicles, and of course cars. There is no equal to this product."
"It means far less frequent oil changes, a considerably longer life for oil filters and other spare-parts, greater fuel efficiency, reduced fuel emissions and ultimately a much healthier engine."
The product is patented and manufactured from a secret formula by Synionic in the UK, and Foresight Lubricant Technologies, the exclusive GCC distributor, is anticipating major interest from the construction industry.
The Foresight Group GCC was founded by Youssef Ghaith, a pioneer in the UAE building industry best known for co-founding Al Jaber Group and running the construction giant for 33 years. Added to its extensive UAE activities, the Group has done contracting works in Malabu, Equatorial Guinea, including management commissioning and construction of the Hilton Hotel in Malabu. It is currently in the process of acquiring prospecting and mining rights in Kenya.
