The Pavilion has attracted enormous interest from galleries, foundations, celebrities, sponsors, patrons and the media – from the BBC, Mathaf (Arab Museum of Modern Art), Zaha Hadid, Christies' Haunch of Venison, Associazione Sala Uno Roma, Associazione Culturale Nuova Icona, XVA, Changing Role, Association of Iraqi Artists and Arab Fund for Art and Culture, to the Fondazione Gervasuti and the Commission of the 54th Venice Biennale. Furthermore, the renowned art magazine and publisher CANVAS has now been confirmed as Media Partner.

To date the Pavilion is officially backed by Iraq's Representation to the U.N. Agencies in Rome and Iraq's Ministry of Water Resources, and is pleased to announce it has also now attained the financial support of the Embassy of Iraq in Rome and the Iraqi Ministry of Culture, both essential contributors to the project and heralding a major breakthrough for the Iraqi Government and its cultural component.
